The Staff Fraud Analytics Consultant will perform assigned fraud analytics, data analysis, reporting, and investigative support activities as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position will apply standard professional concepts and methodologies to solve structured analytical problems, work independently on routine assignments, and receive general instruction and review for new or more complex work. The role involves analyzing transaction logs, application activity, user behavior, and fraud-related data to identify trends, anomalies, patterns, correlations, and potentially suspicious activity. It also includes supporting fraud prevention, detection, response, and continuous enhancement activities, as well as executing and documenting existing fraud indicators, detection logic, business rules, and analytical processes. The consultant will perform data mining, pattern recognition, behavioral analysis, and basic statistical analysis to support operational decision-making. Additionally, the role assists with data preparation, data quality review, data integration, and extract, transform, load activities supporting analytics and reporting. Investigative and forensic analysis of structured and unstructured data to identify trends, root causes, and potential indicators requiring further review is also a key responsibility. The consultant will support stakeholder meetings by gathering information, documenting requirements, and clarifying data quality, reporting, or analytical needs. Preparation of analytical reports, dashboards, briefings, presentations, executive summaries, and technical documentation for various stakeholders is required. Documenting methodologies, findings, procedures, assumptions, and work products is essential for quality control, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity. This position requires working onsite at the client site in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborating closely with government personnel and contractor team members.
