As a Staff Financial Analyst within AMD’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making. Requirements
- Background in financial analysis, ideally within a corporate FP&A setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling expertise
- Experience with data analysis using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or related tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial results and KPIs to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models to guide business planning and strategic decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial data
- Deliver clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports to senior management
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects that drive business performance
- Monitor industry and economic trends to assess potential financial impacts
- Uphold compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures
