Requirements

  • Extensive experience working with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization.
  • Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, including Application Designer, workflows, schemas, and integration frameworks.
  • Proficient in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations.
  • Experience building complex BIRT reports and implementing workflow processes.
  • Comfortable working with REST/JSON integrations across enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (especially DB2) and HTML.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who works well within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Maximo Scheduler, Work Centers, or MAS 9+.
  • Familiarity with GxP regulations and validation requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).
  • Understanding of OpenShift, DevOps practices, or cloud-native technologies.
  • Familiarity with SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into effective Maximo-based solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform.
  • Participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into technical requirements.
  • Build and support integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework.
  • Enhance Maximo through configurations, workflows, automation scripts, MBO customizations, and BIRT reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications, integrations, workflows, and reporting.
  • Create validation documents, test plans, and execute test cases to ensure quality.
  • Maintain system documentation, including design specs and user guides.
  • Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Occasionally support integrations with data platforms (e.g., BigQuery) and reporting tools like Tableau.
  • May also assist with AVEVA PI content creation and troubleshooting when needed.
