About The Position

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Staff Engineering Technician. This role will be within the client Distributed Infrastructure solution, supporting client needs related to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The Staff Engineering Technician functions in a project engineering technician capacity. Under general direction, this role supports engineering and design teams by developing and modifying technical deliverables. The position applies foundational engineering principles and established design practices to create moderately complex design concepts and solutions. The technician utilizes digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. Additionally, the role provides technical guidance and may offer direction to other engineering professionals and technicians to ensure quality and consistency across project outputs.

Requirements

• Advanced Civil 3D experience is required with use of proposed grading surfaces and plan development.
• Diploma or Certificate required.
• Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
