Requirements

  • 1+ years of work experience in high-speed SI/PI and EMC-related fields
  • Major in high-speed SI/PI and EMC-related field
  • Experience with simulation software Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
  • Familiar with lab equipment, VNA, TDR, and high-speed oscilloscope
  • Experience in high-speed digital system design, including PCB and package
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission line, and antenna theory
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit
  • Hands-on proficiency with Python and Matlab for automation and data analysis

Responsibilities

  • Perform signal integrity and power integrity simulation for high-speed PCB and package to enhance the EMC performance of devices
  • Conduct EMC measurement and analysis for the automotive Ethernet product to correlate the simulation results and understanding
  • Develop and maintain channel and device models (S-parameters, IBIS-AMI) for high-speed interfaces
  • Correlate simulations with measurements using VNA, TDR, spectrum analyzer, and lab EMC measurement
  • Review and drive SI/PI sign-off for internal high-speed PCB design
  • Define stack-up, material selection, and design guidelines for PCB and package
  • Collaborate with IC design teams to define the EMC specification of the new product
