  • Track record of driving large-scale, high-impact projects.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, particularly Kubernetes or ECS and Terraform.
  • Expertise implementing monitoring and observability solutions, including Grafana, Coralogix, AWS CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub and building and managing advanced automation pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of advanced AWS networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
  • Expertise in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to identify and solve ambiguous, high-level problems.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
  • Leadership skills and interest in guiding and upskilling other engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive architectural enhancements, design, and integration solutions across the platform using serverless and containerization technologies.
  • Design and build reliable systems that meet high standards for durability, availability, disaster recovery, and performance.
  • Define, monitor, and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs; establish proactive alerting and real-time dashboards for system health.
  • Work with the developer experience team to evolve CI/CD workflows and automate tasks across the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor senior and junior engineers and promote methodologies and best practices, including test-driven development and automated testing.
  • Partner with engineering, product, customer success, and other teams to identify and address complex technical challenges with company-wide impact.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
