About The Position

Greenwood Health and Living is seeking an experienced Staff Development Coordinator (SDC), who is either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role focuses on matching the learning needs of nursing and non-nursing staff with educational programs to meet dynamic resident care demands. The position involves assessing educational needs, coordinating training programs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines for employee orientation and annual in-service training. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse or LPN license.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Recent clinical experience with an ongoing and enthusiastic interest in creating educational programs that address the unique issues associated with care of the aged in a long-term care setting.
  • Maintains current CPR and TB Certifications.
