About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Design Reliability Verification Engineer to drive and develop reliability verification with design and product teams. The role plans, oversees, and develops stress patterns to increase reliability coverage, and applies product reliability requirements and customer usage conditions across different DRAM products. It performs verification processes using modeling, simulation, and industry-standard simulators. The engineer collaborates across groups to standardize practices and support group success, working with Marketing, Quality, Product Engineering, and technology teams to ensure product manufacturability and evaluate high-risk reliability mechanisms. The role supports silicon validation and qualification, advises on silicon reliability issues, and analyzes and debugs circuits down to the device level in relation to degradation mechanisms. It also develops and improves reliability verification tools and methodologies, participates in technical forums, and trains and mentors junior engineers. The employer requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Micron describes benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, income-protection programs, paid family leave, paid time off, and paid holidays.
