About The Position

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Part-Time Staff Dentist for its Comprehensive Care Center in Bakersfield. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, including diagnostic, preventive, emergency, restorative, maintenance, prosthetic, and oral surgery services. The dentist will also work with the Dental Director to develop patient and community education programs focused on dental disease prevention, while prioritizing chairside services to meet community needs. Additionally, the Staff Dentist will assist in establishing oral health service standards, developing organizational plans, learning and applying techniques, supervising dental staff, and representing the clinic in professional meetings. The position is 24 hours per week, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

Must be a licensed dentist.
Experience in providing comprehensive dental care.
Ability to work with the Dental Director to develop educational programs.
Willingness to prioritize chairside services to meet community needs.
Ability to assist in establishing standards of oral health service.
Ability to learn and apply provided techniques and methods appropriately.
Ability to supervise dental staff.
Ability to represent the clinic in meetings of professional groups.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic, preventive, emergency, complete restorative, maintenance therapy, prosthetic therapy, and oral surgery services.
