About The Position

Clinica Sierra Vista is a large Federally Qualified Health Center with a 47-year history of growth and innovation, serving patients in Fresno and Kern counties at 31 health centers. They offer a wide range of services including Pediatric Care, Adult Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, and more. Clinica Sierra Vista is accredited by the Joint Commission and partners with local entities to meet patient needs. They are seeking a Staff Dentist to join their team, focusing on patient and community education, dental disease prevention, and providing routine clinical services.

Requirements

• Must have a license to practice dentistry in the state of California.
• Experience in providing a broad range of dental services including diagnostic, preventive, restorative, and oral surgery.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Commitment to community health and patient education.
• J1/H-1B visa candidates are welcome.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing dental disease prevention programs.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Dental Director to develop an effective patient and community education and dental disease prevention program in addition to needed routine clinical services.
• Provide diagnostic, preventive, emergency, complete restorative, maintenance therapy, prosthetic therapy, and oral surgery services.
• Assist in establishing standards of oral health service and developing an organizational plan to carry out activities.
• Learn to use provided techniques and methods appropriately.
• Supervision of dental staff.
• Representing the clinic in meetings of professional groups.
• May perform other work-related duties.

• $160,000 - $190,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience)
