About The Position

Provides targeted, advanced-level, clinical psychotherapy services addressing a range of mental health concerns for a diverse population of students/clients within the University’s Counseling Center. Develops treatment plans and utilizes specialized techniques to foster student development, remediate mental health problems, and promote positive mental health. Oversees comprehensive assessments and treatments, referrals for hospitalizations, and case reviews. Supervises interns and fellows and provides outreach programming and consultation. Provides on-call emergency coverage, prepares reports, and performs administrative duties.

Requirements

Advanced-level clinical psychotherapy services
Experience addressing a range of mental health concerns
Experience with diverse student/client populations
Ability to develop treatment plans
Proficiency in specialized techniques for student development, mental health remediation, and promotion
Experience with comprehensive assessments and treatments
Experience with referrals for hospitalizations
Experience with case reviews
Supervisory experience (interns and fellows)
Experience with outreach programming and consultation
Experience with on-call emergency coverage
Report preparation skills
Administrative skills
