Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance
  • Successfully pass a drug and background check
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college.
  • Ability to manage or negotiate contracts
  • Able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers on strategies to resolve contractual issues.
  • Prior professional experience working with multiple contract types (FPI, CPIF/CPFF), fee arrangements, as well as deep experience with FAR/DFARS.
  • Experienced negotiating contracts and working with different contract types, i.e. CPFF, FFP, CPIF, etc.
  • FAR, DFARS experience
  • 5+ years of related contracts management and negotiation experiences

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, advice and counsel to FBM programmatic and technical staff regarding contract interpretation issues, contract scope issues, and other contract-related matters.
  • Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts; provide risk assessments and offer alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluate and coordinate proposals; investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
  • Serve as point-of-contact to the USG customer on major matters pertaining to program policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Guide strategic activities and develop incentive fee plans.
  • Mentor cohorts and associates.
