About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringrequired
E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) or ability to obtainP.E. licenserequired
0–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, consulting, or related field.
Foundational knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE) and electrical system design.
Interestin forensic consulting and willingness to developexpertisein litigation support.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with electrical engineering analysis or design software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be available to travel occasionally as part of the national practice.

Nice To Haves

Master’sdegree preferred.
P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

Assistswith field investigations of electrical systems, equipment failures, and related electrical engineering matters.
Performs engineering analysis under supervision and applies knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, OSHA).
Assistsin the preparation of high-quality technical reports.
Supports deposition and trial preparation; may provide testimony as experience develops.
Assistsin conducting client presentations.
Confers with project personnel to provide technical support and gather information.
Seekstechnical advice and guidance from more experienced consultants.
Participates in continuing education and professional development activities.
Supports Business Development activities asappropriate.
