About The Position

We are frequently retained by law firms, insurance companies, and manufacturers to answer complex technical questions on projects ranging from small, focused investigations to large-scale, high-profile losses. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringrequired
  • E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) or ability to obtainP.E. licenserequired
  • 0–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, consulting, or related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE) and electrical system design.
  • Interestin forensic consulting and willingness to developexpertisein litigation support.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with electrical engineering analysis or design software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be available to travel occasionally as part of the national practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’sdegree preferred.
  • P.E. license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assistswith field investigations of electrical systems, equipment failures, and related electrical engineering matters.
  • Performs engineering analysis under supervision and applies knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, OSHA).
  • Assistsin the preparation of high-quality technical reports.
  • Supports deposition and trial preparation; may provide testimony as experience develops.
  • Assistsin conducting client presentations.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical support and gather information.
  • Seekstechnical advice and guidance from more experienced consultants.
  • Participates in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Supports Business Development activities asappropriate.
