Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Staff Component Development Engineer to be based at Cincinnati, OH. This role is part of the PRISM program, a newly formed base business function within the Ethicon Supply Chain organization, focused on managing the E2E Cost of Goods sold for the handheld Endo-Mechanical and Energy business. The primary goal of the PRISM program is to identify, prioritize, and implement Cost Improvement Project (CIP) opportunities. As a key member of the engineering team, you will make vital contributions to the Endo-mechanical & Energy (EM&E) Supply Chain pipeline by improving cost, driving value in our devices, and enhancing patient care through innovation. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external suppliers to develop robust metal and plastic part designs, electronic subassembly designs, tooling, and manufacturing processes that meet or exceed all product requirements at the lowest possible manufacturing cost.
