We are hiring for an experienced professional to join our team as a Staff Engineer and contribute to our multi-discipline design projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Princeton, NJ. This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of private and public site development projects across various markets! Please note that we are willing to consider a higher-level position for a candidate that qualifies with additional experience accordingly. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering).
4+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with land development projects.
Knowledge to stormwater management design calculations and software
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Nice To Haves

P.E. license in NJ is preferred.
Experience working on land development and infrastructure improvement projects.
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, project management software, etc.); exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bluebeam is a plus!
Experience with stormwater management (SWM) design calculations, especially while utilizing H&H modeling tools.
Proficiency on standard office software applications: Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, etc.
Proven ability to look at the “Big Picture” as well the project goals in order to coordinate various design disciplines accordingly.
Proven track record of demonstrating punctuality with consistent attendance.
Proven ability to work in an energetic & challenging team environment as a collaborative Team Player, especially while maintaining the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, especially when working on a variety of projects while providing solutions to difficult issues.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

Perform site design work; this includes site layout, grading, utilities-oriented tasks (e.g.: water & sanitary sewer systems), and public street design.
Perform site evaluations for land development feasibility.
Assist with stormwater management [SWM]: design stormwater piping systems, assist with Erosion & Sediment Control [ESC], review retention / detention, and implement Best Management Practices [BMP's], when necessary.
Review of local municipal ordinances as well as county & state regulations.
Assist the design team in preparation of plans for permitting and construction.
Assist with the preparation of permit applications.
Assist with the preparation of engineering reports; this involves presenting technical information to demonstrate compliance with client requirements and/or regulatory requirements.
Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
