Lyten•San Jose, CA
•$141,100 - $211,700

About The Position

Lyten is seeking an experienced battery engineer specializing in pouch and prismatic cell design to lead cell development initiatives. The role drives product design from concept through pilot production and manufacturing scale-up, including material selection, cell architecture, performance analysis, safety trade-offs, and design for manufacturability. The engineer works with product, business, materials, process, quality, manufacturing, and automation teams to translate product needs into battery targets and qualification plans, and to transfer designs to pilot and production lines. The position also provides technical leadership and mentorship and produces reports and decision frameworks for executive and customer visibility. The posting describes work on Lyten’s battery and advanced-material technologies, which are intended to support applications across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.
