About The Position

Neighborly, a hub of service brands with over 40 years of experience, is seeking an ambitious Staff Attorney to join their Legal team. This role offers the opportunity to gain extensive legal experience in various areas, including franchise law, intellectual property law, contract law, employment law, litigation, arbitration, and mediation. The Staff Attorney will support Neighborly's brands, departments, and corporate locations by performing legal matters as designated by a supervising attorney. The position involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, supporting corporate governance, and monitoring legal and regulatory changes. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate looking to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

Perform legal matters as designated by your supervising attorney to support the brands, departments, and corporate locations of Neighborly.
Gain the legal experience, knowledge, and expertise to support Neighborly on a day-to-day basis, in various areas of the law to include, but not limited to franchise law, intellectual property law, contract law, employment law, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and so much more.
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and licensing arrangements.
Support corporate governance activities, including entity formation, maintenance, and dissolution, preparation of resolutions, minutes, and governance documentation.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and communicate implications to stakeholders.
