About The Position

This role supports GM Financial and General Motors Insurance by helping maintain and improve the company’s privacy program, including incident response support, policy and procedure governance, and counseling on privacy requirements in connection with business processes, vendors, and projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners (Cybersecurity, Compliance, IT, Procurement, and business teams) to identify and manage privacy risk in a practical, business-forward way. Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in at least one state
• Experience in privacy, cybersecurity, financial services, or insurance law
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional partners
• Ability to identify and manage privacy risk in a practical, business-forward way
