This exciting opportunity is for an Architect within the Engineering and Development Services Architectural Group. The in-house architectural staff provides building support for water, power, data center, and nextgen agricultural projects. The Operations Team develops, deploys, and maintains global resources and capabilities for execution and process excellence, promoting a collaborative and innovative culture with career development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture from an NAAB or a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).
  • Intermediate knowledge of architectural design principles.
  • Professional registration or licensure in their designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration (for most positions).

Responsibilities

  • Leading architectural building design and detailing on projects.
  • Applying building codes and design standards to specific building types.
  • Specification writing (with mentorship if not experienced).
  • Exposure to all aspects of professional practice including construction phase services.
  • Proposal and conceptual design graphics.
  • Coordinating the creation of drawings and specifications with other disciplines.
  • Reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, etc. during Construction Phase Services.
  • Facility review for building code compliance.
  • Application of sustainable strategies.
