About The Position

The Demand Planning, Staff Analyst is responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining demand forecasts across all regions for the Hardware Portfolio, integrating input from commercial teams, finance, and supply planning as part of the PSI process. The role ensures a balanced global demand plan that supports customer service, revenue, and inventory targets while managing demand risk and variability in line with APICS best practices for demand management and integrated business planning. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of PSI and is part of the Global Supply Chain Organization located in Chaska, Minnesota and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the global demand planning cycle, creating statistical baseline forecasts and enriching them with market intelligence from regional commercial teams. You will also monitor, report, and improve key demand planning KPIs (e.g., MAPE, bias, forecast value add, service level, inventory turns) and identify root causes of forecast error. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and standardization of global demand planning processes, policies, and documentation consistent with APICS S&OP and demand management frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, statistics, or related field; master’s degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to lead cross‑functional and cross‑regional discussions and drive consensus.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience using forecasting tools or advanced planning systems.
  • Solid understanding of APICS/ASCM concepts in demand management, master planning, inventory management, and S&OP/IBP.
