Staff AI Product Engineer

LettrLabs•Los Angeles, CA
•$200,000 - $250,000

About The Position

LettrLabs is hiring a Staff AI Product Engineer to build AI products for business teams including sales, go-to-market, customer service, marketing, and finance. The role combines product work and engineering, with responsibility for discovering opportunities alongside each team and delivering production products that measurably improve business outcomes. It is not an integration or solutions role; the engineer owns products end to end, from discovery through post-launch reliability, iteration, adoption, and impact measurement. The position reports directly to the VP of Software. The engineer will work directly with business teams to understand workflows, goals, and pain points; identify opportunities for AI tools, agents, and automation; and design, build, and ship solutions from prototype to production. They will define success metrics and baselines with each team, build on LettrLabs' existing technology stack where appropriate, select other technologies when better suited, and develop reusable patterns and components to accelerate future deployments. They will also teach and enable teams to use and extend the tools. The role is preferred in-office in Los Angeles, California, but remote applicants will be considered.

  • Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and ship quickly with high quality.
  • Comfort owning production systems, including monitoring, reliability, and ongoing iteration.
