About The Position

Genesis Global Group is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support accounting operations across multiple entities. The role covers day-to-day accounting through executive-level financial reporting and involves partnering with HR, operations, department heads, and leadership. The position sits within the company’s central Accounting & Finance function, which includes CPAs and experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• CPA is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proven experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the collections team.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Manage year-end close and coordinate audits across multiple companies.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of corporate tax obligations and monthly or quarterly sales and use tax returns across operating entities.
• Serve as the primary liaison with State auditors, providing organized documentation and clear financial presentations.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
