Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field
  • 0 - 3 years of accounting experience; entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of accounting practices and controls
  • Strong analytical skills are required, as is the ability to conduct in-depth research, evaluate problems, and recommend viable solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to relay technical accounting information to non-technical people
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy a must
  • Proven analytical and strategic skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • Ability to work in groups
  • Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills: self-management required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Korean and English desired
  • Multi-state tax experience desired
  • CPA or EA preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Review and confirm expense ledger and prepare monthly closing preparation
  • Manage the Company employee expense reimbursement and credit card
  • Review fixed asset schedule and depreciation expense monthly
  • Review prepaid expense schedule and expense monthly
  • Prepare and process journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close
  • Manage reviewing/auditing responses and documentation in all aspects
  • Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheet, profit/loss statement, and other reports
  • Prepare including but not limited to annual financial statement, and internal quarterly F/S
  • Conduct special projects as well as completing any additional duties provided by the supervisor
  • Develop and enforce proper accounting practices within the department and the company
  • Closely work with other departments and provide guidance based on accounting principles
