Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent with 1-3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Results oriented and possess analytical skills to handle moderately complex processes.
  • General knowledge in applicable financial field (such as GAAP, Statutory, retirement plans, state and federal tax laws, payroll, SOX/MAR, etc.).
  • Advanced computer skills in order to quickly learn our multiple systems (Excel skills preferred).
  • Ability to work independently with occasional direction and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and analyzing supporting workpapers, reports, and filings, and documenting observations for review.
  • Completing accounting, annual budgeting and other work related to the administration of many qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
  • Working with participants to answer questions related to their benefits.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reconciling financial records to ensure transactions are properly recorded.
  • Other duties as assigned.
