About The Position

The Staff Accountant reports to the Corporate Controller and performs general accounting duties, prepares reconciliations and journal entries, participates in the financial close process, and has a focus on cash reconciliation across each individual Crew location. This role is on-site, 5 days per week in Fishers, IN.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Analytically minded
• ERP experience required
• Attention to detail
• Desire to learn and improve processes
• Positive, optimistic attitude
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to manage time and prioritize
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Sage Intact experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, research and resolve variances
• Prepare manual journal entries
• Be an active participant in the financial close process
• Prepare cash journal entry as part of close process
• Review credit card fee statements and prepare entries to record expense
• Complete various intercompany related activity in Intacct accounting system
• Assist with annual budget and annual audit process
• Perform ad hoc requests and reports
• Own the treasury function
