About The Position

Catalent’s Greendale, Indiana site is a key part of its Wellness business and a North American center for developing and manufacturing traditional gelatin and plant-based pectin gummies for nutritional supplements and nutraceutical applications. The site offers in-house R&D, quality laboratories, and flexible manufacturing and packaging capabilities, operating under rigorous quality and food-safety standards.

The Staff Accountant supports accounting functions including vendor invoice processing, billing, and reconciliations. The role helps ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards while contributing to a collaborative finance team. The position is 100% onsite in Greendale, Indiana.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum one year of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• May be required to sit, stand, and walk regularly, and occasionally lift 0–15 pounds.

• Associate’s degree in Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Support customer billing, cash applications, and collections activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable subledgers to the general ledger.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules, samples, and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
