About The Position

Backcountry's accounting team has gone through significant turnover and is rebuilding. This role owns core month-end close work — journal entries, accruals, bank and payment channel reconciliations, and the revenue and cash cycle across our multi-channel platforms. As Staff Accountant, you will execute close tasks accurately and on time, build well-documented reconciliations, develop a working command of NetSuite and the consolidation process, and find at least one manual task to streamline with AI or automation within your first year. This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.
