About The Position

Impact Funeral Partners (IFP) is a fast-growing funeral home organization headquartered in Lehi, Utah. Founded in 2020, IFP owns and supports more than 90 funeral home locations across the country. The company empowers local operators with people, practices, and infrastructure so they can focus on honoring lives and comforting families. The Staff Accountant helps keep the books accurate, timely, and ready for review as IFP grows through acquisition and adds new locations and entities. This hands-on, early-career role provides experience with multi-entity accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close. The position is in-office in Lehi, Utah, with compensation of $45,000–$60,000 per year based on experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
0–2 years of accounting experience; internships count.
High attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
Curious, coachable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, growing environment.
Desire to grow with purpose and build a career in finance.
Comfort with Excel and eagerness to learn new accounting systems.

Experience with NetSuite and/or Ramp.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries across multiple entities.
Complete month-end and year-end close tasks accurately and on schedule.
Reconcile bank accounts for each entity.
Prepare and maintain accruals and prepaids.
Review accounts payable and accounts receivable and reconcile them to the general ledger.
Maintain fixed asset records by entity.
Help improve and standardize accounting processes as new locations join the network.
Support other finance and accounting projects as needed.
