About The Position

Aristeo is hiring a Staff Accountant to support projects, customers, subcontractors, and vendors. The role manages day-to-day billing, subcontractor payments, accounts receivable support, project closeout documentation, vendor database maintenance, and month-end and year-end procedures. The position requires an accounting or related associate degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Requirements

Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
3–5 years of experience working in accounting or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and Crystal Report Writing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Self-motivation and a strong ability to follow through.
Must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. without further visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of Viewpoint.
Construction experience.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day billing process, including preparing invoices for approval and coding, and ensuring invoices are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Upload and maintain invoices and supporting documentation in customer portals and other required systems.
Process subcontractor payments, including pending payments, waivers, and payment documentation.
Support accounts receivable collections and respond to supplier payment inquiries.
Complete project closeout items, including retention releases, waivers, and warranties.
Assist with maintaining the vendor database, including collecting W-9 forms.
Complete month-end and year-end procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
