About The Position

API Heat Transfer is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Staff Accountant to support its manufacturing operations through financial analysis, inventory and cost accounting, process improvement, and business partnership. The role supports the financial operations of the business by ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, assisting with month-end close activities, maintaining inventory and cost accounting records, and preparing financial analyses and reports. The Staff Accountant partners with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position contributes to a global manufacturing organization in a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and inventory accounting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
• Analyze inventory, labor, material, and overhead variances.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain ERP accounting data and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial performance.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
