Radiance Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Lakewood, Colorado. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing account reconciliations, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic environment where they can take ownership of processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2-6 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
  • Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment.
  • Experience with payroll accounting, fixed assets, prepaids, and intercompany accounting.
  • Experience supporting external audits and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Maintain prepaid expense schedules and record monthly amortization.
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash management activities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages.
  • Analyze financial results and investigate account variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Assist with annual financial statement audits.
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Help develop, document, and enhance accounting procedures as the business continues to grow.
