About The Position

The Full-Time temporary Staff Accountant will work in project, balance sheet and general ledger accounting for multiple events and properties. This role will also prepare financial statements and assist with other accounting functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2+ years industry accounting experience
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• A positive attitude
• Flexibility in work hours and availability, including work nights and weekends, especially during major projects

Nice To Haves

• Oracle experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare artist payments to be sent via wire, ACH, or check
• Manage the payment, tracking, and approval of all property- and show-related invoices
• Complete month-end close, including preparation of P&L statements, related journal entries, and financial statements
• Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure all checks and wires are entered and reconciled monthly
• Work with AP/AR Specialists to ensure all receivables, receipts, and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and on time
• Prepare and pay all monthly and quarterly taxes
• Maintain accounting files, provide audit support as needed, and ensure files comply with all company policies and procedure
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned
