ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus one (1) year of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing journal entries and reconciliations for approval by the Accounting Manager.
  • Prepare internal and/or external reporting to support business owners to ensure appropriate financial statement disclosure.
  • Assist Management with system implementations and testing.
  • Prepare analysis for Management and external auditors for quarterly and Annual analytical reviews.
  • Keep position procedure documentation up to date.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal associates to answer questions and resolve issues, including reconciliation and auditing of company records.
  • Investigate and analyze discrepancies and recommend issue resolution. Escalates as needed.
  • Prepare and run various daily, weekly and monthly reports; sort and distribute for use as necessary.
  • Assist with Company projects as assigned.
  • Expected to cross-train in multiple department positions.
  • Develop reporting for internal or external use as needed.
