About The Position

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliations, and the month-end close process. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, improving processes, and collaborating across departments. You'll gain exposure to multi-currency reporting, financial statement analysis, and modern ERP systems while contributing to a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations).
Experience with bank reconciliations, cash applications, and cash management activities.
Exposure to multi-currency accounting and financial statement reporting.
Experience using SAP, S/4HANA, or a comparable ERP system.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger analysis.
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
Process cash transactions and maintain accurate cash application records.
Research and resolve accounting issues and outstanding balances.
Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives.
Partner with internal stakeholders to answer accounting-related questions and provide financial insights.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Analyze financial data and support special projects as needed.
