Compensation: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 annually Location: Onsite at our Aurora Headquarters Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, hands-on experience with NetSuite, and a proven track record managing bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and intercompany transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong experience with NetSuite (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proven experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and intercompany accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Experience in a multi-entity environment
  • Experience improving or implementing accounting systems and processes

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiencies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments
