About The Position

The Staff Accountant is a hands-on member of the accounting team, based at Dental Intelligence’s headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah, with a hybrid work schedule. The role reports to the Controller and supports general ledger maintenance, month-end close, journal entries, vendor invoices and payments, the annual external audit, and ad hoc reporting and projects. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the Pleasant Grove office and be available to work onsite as required.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; internships count, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient understanding of accounting concepts such as accruals, month-end close, and the general ledger.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the Pleasant Grove, Utah office and be available to work onsite as required.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including bank, billing, and subscription revenue reconciliations.
• Enter vendor invoices and prepare payments accurately and on time.
• Record journal entries and help maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with departmental cost reporting and ad hoc reports.
• Help prepare for the annual external audit and respond to auditor requests.
