This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of 3 days in our downtown Chicago, IL office and 2 days working remotely from home.

Requirements

BS or MS in Accounting
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and sound business judgment
Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas
Advanced skills in Excel

Nice To Haves

CPA candidacy desirable but not required
Workday experience a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
Drive accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
Own parts of complex areas of the general ledger such as fixed assets, leases, and intercompany processing.
Prepare high‑quality workpapers and analyses that support financial statements, GAAP and Tax audits.
Assist with ad-hoc projects.
Perform other general accounting duties as assigned.
