Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience with accounting software; Microsoft D365 experience is required.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and proper documentation.
Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including supporting schedules and variance analysis.
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Maintain and organize accounting records in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
Assist internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation.
Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned.
Support continuous improvement efforts within the finance department.
