About The Position

This role involves preparing journal entries, managing accounts receivable and collections, reconciling point-of-sale data, preparing supporting schedules, performing monthly account reconciliations, assisting with financial statement preparation, and managing inventory accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1+ years of general accounting experience is highly preferred.
• General Business knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, diligence, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger/journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Receivable/ Collections; oversee house charge accounts.
• Reconcile POS to daily account posting.
• Prepare supporting Schedules.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and research variances.
• Assist with quarterly/year end closes and preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets.
• Prepare inventory accounting, reconciliation, and adjustments.
