About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least three years of general accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently while supporting the overall finance team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required).
Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience.
Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP.
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Analyze and explain variances between actual results and budget.
Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as required.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
