Community Partners in Action (CPA) is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform various accounting duties in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and CPA’s accounting, audit, and reporting requirements and policies. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and requires a blend of technical, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and individual leadership skills. The ability to effectively interact and build credible relationships with the administrative team, including the Fiscal Office and agency programs, is critical. A commitment and understanding of agency goals, financial acumen, excellent analytical and organization skills, an attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize, and a focus on meeting all deliverables is essential, along with sound judgment and ability to determine when and where independent judgment and initiative should be exercised.
