About The Position

The Staff Accountant focuses on month-end close activities, reconciliations, and consolidations. The role also supports international accounting, validations, and the global consolidation system. It involves collaboration with accounting and finance personnel across multiple countries and with department heads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Knowledge of Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and schedules.
• Assist with administering the global accounting consolidating system.
• Provide support to external auditors and tax preparers as requested.
• Prepare monthly validation files for multiple international entities.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing accounting processes and help develop greater department efficiencies.
• Research technical accounting literature to ensure proper accounting treatment is followed.
• Partner with departments and operating stations to help them understand their monthly financial performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
