About The Position

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a remote team environment is preferred.
- Experience in nonprofit accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and client relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, providing actionable insights to management.
- Support annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Function as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that all client requests are addressed promptly.
