About The Position

The Staff Accountant supports multi-entity operations in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including tracking the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other financial activities related to restaurant operations. The Staff Accountant also ensures compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• At least two years of experience of related experience required
• Knowledge of general financial accounting
• Complete bank reconciliation
• Proficient in MS Office applications: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries is a plus
• Multi- Entity Experience a plus
• Experience in Cloud Based Accounting Software preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including assets, liabilities, and profit and loss statements
• Ensure all financial activities comply with applicable tax laws and company policies
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Record, track, and monitor financial transactions related to restaurant operations
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
• Assist with multi-entity accounting processes
• Utilize accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications to manage financial data
• Support overall financial operations and collaborate with internal teams as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information
