About The Position

The Staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager in the Corporate Accounting/Finance group. This position will be involved in the full accounting cycle and play an active role in the monthly close process with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1 year experience required
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of products

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Review expense report submissions
  • Reconcile GL accounts and prepare supporting schedules
  • Support AR & AP functions
  • Provide back-up for team members as needed
  • Other ad hoc projects as requested
