About The Position
Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant in St. Joseph, MO to join our team. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or 3+ years of related experience.
- Understanding of GAAP.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and organization.
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen.
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
Responsibilities
- Accounts payable workflows.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Process accounts receivable.
- Journal entry processing.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
