Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Possess excellent skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows with an emphasis on Excel.
Analytical, self-motivated, able to work alone or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Results-oriented with great attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a high level of trust.
Capable of handling sensitive information confidentially.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Change agent, able to analyze unstructured problems and guide decision makers.
Competent communicator able to foster open discussion of ideas, share thoughts clearly in writing, provide and receive feedback, and encourage growth in self and others.

SAP experience is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

Prepares journal entries for month-end accruals and reclassifications to ensure the financial statements' completeness and accuracy.
Reconciles general ledger account balances and compiles various GL account analysis reports.
Assists in the maintenance of Fixed Asset records.
Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
Assists with the audit process.
Assists with the budget process
Special projects as assigned
