Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Three or more years of accounting experience preferred
  • Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries during monthly and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and complete
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and cash postings
  • Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns
  • Create and distribute sales commission and royalty reports
  • Process and post Concur expense transactions and reporting
  • Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned by the Controller
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Partner with departments across the organization to support operational and financial objectives
  • Support continuous learning and process improvement initiatives
