About The Position

The Staff Accountant will contribute to ASSA ABLOY’s finance team, building accounting experience across reporting, close, and accounting operations. The role works with business partners and finance leaders and provides exposure to multiple accounting areas and teams across the business.

The position supports accurate and timely financial close, intercompany activity, fixed assets and leases, consolidation and reporting using OneStream, audits, process and control improvements, and accounting projects. The role offers opportunities to deepen technical skills, broaden business understanding, and grow within a global organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Practical accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working with Excel and financial systems.
• Collaborative, detail-minded approach.
• Ability to learn, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OneStream or similar finance systems.
• Exposure to a manufacturing, multi-divisional, or shared-services environment.
• Progress toward a CPA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts, resolve variances, and help ensure financial information is complete and reliable for an accurate, timely close.
• Support intercompany activity, fixed assets, and leases.
• Use OneStream to support consolidation and reporting.
• Partner across the business to investigate accounting issues, provide answers, and support finance, operations, and shared-services teams.
• Support audits, improve processes and controls, and contribute to accounting projects and improvements.
