About The Position

This role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities including cost accounting, plant accounting, sales revenue accounting, fixed asset accounting, and general accounting. The position requires proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and prior work experience or an internship is preferred. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on food safety and quality plans.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting
• Plant accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities
• Sales revenue accounting, including trade fund spending and analysis
• Fixed asset accounting, including sales tax and property tax
• General accounting, including bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and budgeting
• Credit evaluation
• Monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements
• Reporting food safety and quality issues to management
